Albrecht Fuchs, born in 1964 in Bielefeld, studied visual communication with a focus on Photography at Gesamthochschule Essen. He lives and works in Cologne. Albrecht Fuchs is known for his portrait photography of artist colleagues. In 2020 and 2021 a major survey show, entitled 'Album. Portraits 1989–2020', was shown in three museums in Germany: Museum für Photographie Braunschweig, Kunsthaus Nürnberg, Leopold Hoesch Museum in Düren.
